At HCM Ware, Letchworth & Milton Keynes Music College, we have Music Performance Diplomas to suit all levels of learning. Whether you’re aged 16-19, or are 19+, there’s a globally recognised Music Diploma to suit you.
Level 2 Diploma
Our one-year intermediary Music Performance Diploma allows you to retake your English and/or Maths GCSEs or Functional Skills at the same time as studying music.
Level 3 Diploma
Our two-year advanced Music Performance Diploma is equivalent to three A-levels, making it a modern alternative to the traditional sixth form route.
If you’re 16 to 19 and would like to make music every day, with the goal of progressing to a career in the music industry, then our Level 2 and Level 3 Music Performance Diplomas awarded by Rockschool (RSL) can help get you there.
Whether you’re a singer, guitarist, bassist, drummer or songwriter we’ll help you explore your passion for music while develop your music performance skills and gaining a broader understanding of the way the music industry works. You don’t need any formal musical training or to be studying GCSE music to take part – just a desire to make music.
Our practical and vocational performance courses cover everything from technique and performance skills on your instrument, to musicianship, theory, style and genre history, composition and arranging, and music technology. There will be constant opportunities to rehearse, perform live and collaborate in a group environment.
You’ll also participate in real-world music industry experiences as you learn first-hand the ins and outs of the music business thank to workshops with successful musicians, musical directors, music producers and teachers, as well as visits by guest musicians and day trips to professional recording studio facilities. Our diplomas are a great gateway to taking your first steps in a music industry career, or continuing on with study in the form of a Music Degree at our partner school ICMP London.
